George Mead Condee (1826 or 1827, Schenectady, New York - October 23, 1898, San Francisco, California) was a member of the 1859 California State Assembly from El Dorado County, California.
The Honorable Prentiss Carpenter (February 8, 1852, El Dorado County-November, 1902, Placerville, California) was a Superior Judge-Elect of El Dorado County, California who died a few days after his election in 1902. He was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West and is buried in Placerville Union Cemetery.
The Honorable Gideon Judd Carpenter (May 4, 1823, Pennsylvania-May 6, 1910, Placerville, California) was prominent pioneer citizen of Placerville, California who was active in Democratic politics and served as County Clerk, District Attorney, Speaker of the House, State Senator, and Railroad Commisioner. He was the father of Prentiss Carpenter who preceded him in death.
